It was dull and overcast when we got up this morning and the weather got worse as time went on. It rained quite heavily as we drove north towards the Hoover Dam. We later discovered that there was a number of weather alerts for flash floods issued for the area we were driving through that morning. Really enjoyed your blog T. The amount of information is just mind boggling... helped by great photos. Thanks for your time and effort in keeping us updated on your travels.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog lovely photos. You certainly you needed that great meal at T. V. Graham & Co in "sleepy" McClenaville. You even picked up the lingo. I didn't know that an Indian tribe (in this case the Hualapai tribe") had such a vast reservation. Magnificent sunrise seen from the ranch. The Skywalk Canyon and Bridge was really something. What a feat of engineering. All the same I would have crossed it with trepidation. What memories of history Charlestown must have evoked. Loved to have seen. Also loved to have seen the Magnolia Plantation. Again great blog well done.
